It is the kind of thing that as soon as you see just one trailer for, you say wow! Seriously, I would say that this is one of the best looking and most stylish looking games of the year. It has a cell shaded kind of thing going on, but the graffiti and art all over the city and cars has this kind of glow in the dark effect as well. This is possibly the greatest looking game in the series, it is certainly the most unique. You want to be the best street racer around and it is not just other racers you have to watch out for as the cops are not too happy about what you and the other racers are doing! Ok, so the story in Need For Speed Unbound is not going to win you over as it is pretty much you starting at the bottom of the street racing circuit in Lakeshore City which is a fictional representation of Chicago. Anyway, I wanted to take a closer look at some of the cool features this latest instalment is offering. Dynamic, skittish driving and 30 fps – it just doesn’t stick together. For racing games – even arcade games – frames per second are very important, and I’m glad that EA finally understood that as well. Thanks to this, we will play the title in 4K resolution, while maintaining 60 fps.
